The Convent of Malinalco, a historical treasure that has withstood the passing of time, but unfortunately suffered serious damage during the 2017 earthquake. This convent, also known as the Convent of the Transfiguration, was founded in 1540 by the Augustinian Order and played a crucial role in the process of evangelization in our country.

Despite the efforts of the authorities and the local community, the reconstruction of the convent has not been completed, significantly affecting the religious, commercial and tourist life of Malinalco. It is in this context that the Patronato para el Rescate del Convento Agustino de Malinalco (Sponsorship for the Rescue of the Augustinian Convent of Malinalco) was created, an initiative that joins forces to restore this architectural treasure.

RVA Abogados is proud to collaborate with the Sponsorship in this noble cause. We believe in the value of preserving the historical and cultural heritage of our country, and that is why we offer our services on a pro-bono basis to assist in the incorporation and corporate governance of the Civil Association for fundraising purposes towards the achievement of this goal.

RVA Abogados joins the religious and civil authorities, as well as the community, to carry out several activities that will benefit the restoration of the Convent of Malinalco, seeking with concrete actions to contribute to the welfare of the community.
